Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the annual GBPP Gathering, an event that brings together coffee enthusiasts, farmers, and industry experts from around the globe. As I reflect on my experience, I’m filled with a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and immerse myself in the world of specialty coffee.

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to sample a wide variety of coffees from different regions and roasters. From fruity Ethiopian Yirgacheffes to bold Brazilian Santos, each cup offered a glimpse into the diverse and complex world of coffee flavors. It was truly a feast for the senses, and I found myself marveling at the intricacies of each brew.

In addition to indulging in delicious coffee, the gathering also provided a platform for learning and growth. I attended several informative workshops and seminars led by industry experts, covering topics ranging from sustainable farming practices to the art of coffee roasting. It was inspiring to see so many passionate individuals coming together to share their knowledge and expertise, all in the pursuit of advancing the coffee industry.

As I bid farewell to the GBPP Gathering and returned home, I carried with me not only fond memories but also a renewed sense of inspiration. The experience reminded me of the power of coffee to bring people together, transcending boundaries and fostering meaningful connections. And for that, I am truly grateful.
